Bridging South Asian Communities

Interfaith & Community Mobilization

Chup, Go Vote! bridges faith-based divides in South Asian communities through civic engagement. By hosting nonpartisan voter registration and education drives, we aim to boost electoral participation with translated guides and outreach materials.

What is the initiative?

Chup, Go Vote! recognizes the vitality of the mosaic of faiths as a very fabric of South Asian society. We aim to utilize civic engagement as a powerful tool to overcome faith-based divides and cultivate interfaith engagement. During election cycles, we will be hosting nonpartisan voter registration and civic education drives at various community events and places of worship. We will hand out one page voter guides which are translated in widely spoken South Asian languages, while registering voters and handing out t-shirts, stickers, and other goodies.

By meeting our community where they are, we aim to maximize the South Asian community’s engagement in our electoral processes. If you or your organization is interested in partnering with us to host a voter registration drive or civic education event, please contact us at [email protected].
